CD19 is a protein that serves as an identifier for B cells, and it ...has been utilized in the identification of cancers that originate from these cells, particularly B cell lymphomas. Most B cell malignancies demonstrate the presence of CD19 at normal to elevated levels. CD19 is found throughout various B cell cancers. Aside from CAR T cells, there are other efficient ways to target CD19 such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and bispecific antibodies. These alternatives provide significant benefits for patients with DLBCL who currently lack other treatment options.
