CD8+ T cell exhaustion occurs in lymphocytes affected by cancer and chronic infections, as the signaling of interleukin-7 (IL-7) through CD127 becomes impaired. n The full understanding of the mechanisms involved in CD8+ T cell responses to IL-7 in melanoma is still not fully understood. CD127 exhibits anti-cancer effects in various types of tumors, such as glioma, melanoma, lymphoma, leukemia, prostate cancer, and glioblastoma.
